Project Update: Hobart Airport Runway Upgrade

We’re excited to share that Tom Baulch, our Senior Project Engineer, recently worked with Downer Transport & Infrastructure on the Hobart Airport Runway Upgrade Project. This vital project involves upgrading Hobart Airport’s airfield infrastructure, including strengthening the runway, upgrading taxiways, and constructing a new taxiway, to support increased aviation operations and boost Tasmania's tourism.

DEC Projects and Nasi Civil Complete Challenging Melbourne Water Project

DEC Projects and Nasi Civil have been doing some great work on Melbourne Water assets at Level Crossing Removal Project jobs. This one was a tricky 7.5m deep excavation and micro-tunnelling 50m to a 6m deep exit pit. Both ends needed large in-situ pits constructed that got dug out with a 30t machine with a quick hitch boom attachment to get that extra depth needed.
