DEC Projects were engaged by Southern Program Alliance to estimate the major works package on the Lilydale Line for Coolstore Road, Dublin Road and Cavehill Road.

Works completed at Coolstore Road level crossing removal included building a new road connection under the rail line between Kent Avenue and Lacey Street. Works at Dublin Road have also been completed – a year ahead of schedule.

The level crossing removal at Cavehill Road is currently being completed, including building a new pedestrian underpass.

The overall project will help create a safer connection across the Lilydale line for the local communities in these areas.
